DCW Estimator: Privacy Policy

This policy covers the DCW Estimator, an internal desktop application operated by A. Magelssen LLC, doing business as Dawson Custom Workroom ("DCW"), 151 Vermont St, Ste 5, San Francisco, CA 94103.
Who uses it
The app is used only by DCW staff, and only with DCW's own QuickBooks Online company.
What QuickBooks data the app uses
- It reads DCW's customer list and products and services list, so staff can choose the right customer and items.
- It reads recent estimate numbers, so a new estimate gets the next number in sequence.
- It creates new estimates that staff have reviewed in the app. It does not edit or delete existing QuickBooks records.
Where data is kept
The QuickBooks sign-in is stored encrypted on the computer where staff connected the app, using that computer's built-in protected storage. Estimate details stay in DCW's project files on DCW computers. DCW does not run a server for the app. QuickBooks data is not copied to any other system.
Sharing
DCW does not sell, rent or share QuickBooks data obtained through the app with anyone. Data is exchanged only between the app and Intuit QuickBooks over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Disconnecting
Staff can disconnect at any time from inside the app or in QuickBooks settings. Disconnecting revokes the app's access and deletes the stored sign-in from that computer.
